Reaction:in the story one family can only contain one woman one man one son and one daughter and nothing else this is called family unit if i would live in their society then I would not live with my grandma grandpa or my uncle. Reaction:How could something change in mid air? Wouldn't that be impossible. And also an apple cannot be a perfect sphere and an apple is not nondescript that would mean the apple is dull and an apple is not dull when you think of an apple you think of a reddish kind of yellowish green apple.

Chapter 18-19

that is so awful what they do to the newborn babies and every one that gets released now I know what to get released means I cant believe that Jonas own father finds it comfortable about what they are doing to these babies it is not fair they are murdering them the babies are not in pain or anything so why should they die and they should not call it a release because release means to be set free and go where ever you want.

Chapter 20
"Her name was Rosemary."

Reaction: In his chapter the giver was telling Jonas about his daughter Rosemary I do not know how if the givers daughter is rosemary then how could he let her ask for a release that is hard to know everything and not being able to stop her.

chapter 21
"First thing tomorrow morning."

Reaction:In this chapter Gabe is going to get released the next day I am glad that Jonas takes Gabe and escapes I would be so sad and mad if they killed Gabe in the story.

chapter 22-23

I think how the book ended is that maybe they did find a new civilization or maybe Jonas was just dreaming the whole entire thing . Because he felt no more pain.
